I've read through books, searched on the internet, searched through forums and whenever the question is asked of a pre-ovulation shed, most of the answers refer to the pre-lay shed.

Is there a PRE-OVULATION shed? And being as pre means before.. I would assume that this shed is supposed to occur before ovulation, yet everyone answers for the pre-lay shed. This really does confuse me a lot.

I also was reading on the Markus Jayne site under breeding and i read this and really got confused..
Pre-lay Shed

Shortly after ovulation, most females go into a pre-ovulation shed cycle. They usually shed 16 days after. From this date my females usually lay 27 days later...give or take a few days. The pre-lay shed is the best date from which to start your countdown!
here they say that after ovulation there is a pre-ovulation shed cycle somebody please clarify this for me. thanx.
