Spiders are suspected of being lethal in the homozygous form but thats a rumor and nobody has any proof, but nobody has any proof of the existance of a homozygous spider either....
The Albino has nothing to do with diluting the spider gene.
The pairing wouldn't be lethal but any eggs that would contain homozygous spiders are thought to die before hatching, thus the rumored lethality of the homozygous spider.
The only genetic disorder in spiders is the wobble/spins and that has nothing to do with homozygous spiders.
It definitely would be handy, but nobody has been able to honestly say they have a homozygous spider. Some get lucky and hatch 100% but not consistently.![]()
