I think you should save up to get a decent thermostat to accompany all of your other husbandry purchases, and then buy which ever snake your eyes desire.

I agree with this - buy the necessary husbandry supplies you need for your current animals first, THEN think about adding another animal.

Right now, you've got enough to order a Johnson's or Ranco thermostat!
