Well I went to a reptile show this weekend and picked up two more adult female snakes for about 85 bucks. I also had 3 of my 4 snakes sexed and my guesses for sex was correct 2 girls one boy. So now for the bad news I had the new boy has prolapse (i think that is what it is called) basically and infection or irritation of the hemipeins, which we are treating with neosporin and a dry clean enclosure. The even worse news is one of the snakes I picked up hopefully has a respiratory infection (hopefully as opposed to the alternative IBD (i think)). This is from my lack of knowledge on what to look for, when choosing a snake. For right now we are keeping the temperatures a little higher then normals as well as elevating the humidity and keeping her quarantine in a separate room. My funds are extremely limited as far as I can go for now so this is the best I can do. Obviously if the snake gets worse then I will find a herp vet and take them in for a positive diagnosis. But anyways hope for the best for her. Also any other suggestion will be greatly accepted, but dont just scream take it to the vet.
