I finally got a light tent! The "DIY" idea was over my head, so I went on eBay and found a 29x29x29 collapsible light cube (with 4 colored backgrounds) for only $31 - less than I'd have spent on supplies to build one, I believe. It arrived today, so of course I played around with the snakes for a while. They're both ready for a meal (fed them after the photos) and about to shed, especially Delilah, who's looking VERY dark and blue-eyed... also haven't gotten the right lighting yet, but I still got some cool shots. Now if I could only afford a digital SLR, I'd really be having a good time.
