    Snake bags and Info Cards

Are specially designed snake bags worth it? They aren't that expensive, usually under $2 for a 8x12 one. If you just use pillow cases what thread count is good? I just picked up some 250 thread count ones. Is that low enough to ensure the snake won't suffocate? If I do get a snake bag what size is big enough for adult ball pythons? Adult RTBs?

Also, I just completed my rack and prior to this I just kept all my info (weight, feeding, shedding, all mating related stuff) in composition books. What exactly do you guys use, and in what kind of format? A large 9x5 note card placed to the side or under each tub? I think Ive seen some people keep them in plastic sleeves or something, not sure what that is. I just wanna know what works for people since I think record keeping is oft overlooked. Anyone comfortable with scanning a sample pic of their info cards?
