Keeping Ball Pythons: The Care and Husbandry of Python Regius in Captivity is FINALLY available!

I had a lot of input on the types of books to have available and I think I have something that works for everyone. There are 3 different books available:

Keeping Ball Pythons (Paperback, Color) -- $42.00 USD
Keeping Ball Pythons (Hard Cover, Color) -- $56.00 USD
Keeping Ball Pythons (Paperback, Black and White) -- $20.00 USD

You'll know which is which because i stated the book type in the title and description on lulu. The ONLY differences between them are cover type and whether or not they are color, all versions have EXACTLY the same covers and interiors. If anyone orders the hard cover, let me know how it looks (you may receive yours before I do), the cover previews oddly some times but normally others.

At this time I have no way to autograph copies for those who asked. I may be doing book plates though. If you're interested, shoot me an email and I'll see what I can do (samanthawenitsky@gmail.com).

Because lulu prints on demand with slightly lower grade papers than other publishers, you may notice artifacts, dots or lines in some of the pages. IF this happens, please let me know and absolutely let lulu know there was something wrong with your order. While it is out of my hands entirely, i want to keep track of any oddities with the books. The proof i received had problems with it. Lulu, however, is a great company and is replacing the proof for me.

I know the prices are a little hefty, but that is part of how independently publishing works. I will be looking for an actual publisher to pick up Keeping Ball Pythons, but as of right now I have no information on that. There will be no digital copy released as of right now. I feel that I put enough work and effort into it that I want it to be viewed in physical form.

FAQ -

- Whose snakes are those? Almost all the snakes viewable in the book belong to Adam and Kelly from 8ball pythons (www.8ballpythons.com), with my girl making a guest appearance every so often.

- Why did you do this? Keeping Ball Pythons is actually an Independent Study // Senior project. I completed the entire process in 20 weeks (drafting, writing, manuscripts, editing, photography, design, layout and assembly all done within that 20 week time frame).

-What if i find a mistake? PLEASE, please please, let me know. The book was edited by me, my boyfriend and my assistant Chris Ay. Chris is an awesome guy and totally has a way with spelling, grammar and the english language in general but we may have missed a few things like typos etc. The book (all 141 pages of it) was edited 3 times in 5 days for the final version.
