Fun morning. I went riding for about an hour since it is going to be storming this evening.

I saw this nice rough green snake. First one I have seen in a while. Last weekend and yesterday I spotted a few roadkill rough greens but couldn't find anything live....kinda depressing for a herper. If I had not been coasting the road at 5 mph I would have never saw this one....and it would have been another roadkill. You would be suprised how many reptiles you pass on roads and never notice it. My first pet reptile was also a rough green when I was a kid....brings back memories everytime I see one of these guys.





...and this little one made my day. I love snapping turtles...so fiesty His pond was drying up so he was moving to the one on the other side of the road. I gave a helping hand







I also saw two DOR cottonmouths, a few anoles and a female slider. Decent quick morning trip
