Okay, I'm going to go on a little rant here if you don't mind. If you do, don't read.I seem to get slammed (not so much here), but on other forums for the way I cage/care for my younger boa. As I am one of those 'cruel Tupperware' guys. I keep all my young boas in rack systems...such as this one, as well as in smaller rubbermaid for the really young ones as photoed.

I keep them in this type of setup until they hit around the 5ft mark....like this one who is moving into a new home on sometime next week.

I do this for many reasons. Rack systems are dark, which provides a lot of security. A good thing for the really young ones. Also, they hold heat and humidity very well, and are easy to maintain. But most importantly, THEY WORK...SEE

That 4ft boa doesn't take up much space as you can see. And it may seem small but you might shocked to see that they don't mind it. If there are any other keeps who use the same methodology as do for boas. Please feel free to chime in.

I guess my whole point is don't knock it if you haven't tried it. Not everyone cares for their boas the same. And there is no set way to care for them. I, along with many others, do it this was because it works well.
