Story 1. So the other night I went into the Herp Closet and was about to pull up Hissy's hide to make sure she was doing ok when I hear a hiss and see a head flying towards my hand. I tried it a few more times by lifting it slower to no avail. Ash comes in, picks her up, and it doesn't even phase her.

Story 2. Our new ATB, Cortana, was ok with me Saturday. Ash took her to Emerald Bay with her to get her sexed to make sure she was a she and noticed she had a bad shed so she put her in a tub to soak her. Well when I got there to take her home Scooter pulled her out and handed her to me, not a hiss, strike, menacing posture or anything. Later that night I opened her tub that she was soaking in to see if she was doing ok and of course the first thing I get is a fat head coming at my hand at high speed. Well yesterday Ash moved her to her QT tub and whadya know, nothing.

I have come to the conclusion that the only female herp in the house that tolerates me is Nuada the crestie. All the guys are ok and have never hissed nor struck at me but there is just something about the females. And I do the exact same stuff to the females as I do the males.

What's a guy got to do to get some peace from the female herps! lol.
