Question Forest Moss from Exo Terra

I'd like to know if anyone has any good/bad feedback on using Exo Terra's Forest Moss in BP enclosures. I use it with my Crested Geckos and I love it but I haven't been able to find anything on the web about it being safe or not so safe for BPs. I found a few posts where it was mentioned but nothing really to say if it worked out well or not. They sell it in bricks which expand in water so my plan is to use boiling water to expand it and put it in a zip lock container with a hole cut in it for a humid hide. I just didn't want to throw it in there and then find out there's something in it that could cause problems with BPs. Also, I don't change it frequently for my geckos because they don't need the constant humidity, their enclosure is 99% mesh and I let it dry out regularly (only light misting) so mold isn't a big concern, but if anyone has thoughts on how frequently it should be changed or dried out when used in a humidity hide (I'm thinking weekly), I would appreciate the advice.
