Try a luke warm soaking. Good for sheds and they will poo in the water or just after...when you pick them up out of the water

They are very effecient at what they take in verus what they put out....especially as growing young ones.
But, now that Nate has spoken up and advised you to try soaking, I'm sure you'll give that a shot, cause I get the feeling that's what you really want to do anyway.....

You own enough snakes for a long enough time, clean up enough snake crap well all I can say is you find yourself never wanting to eat another big tootsie roll again!

Is that why all those tootsie rolls go in the garbage at our house about a month after holloween. And for other posters suggesting snakes poop after a bath. You are spot on. My wife will tell you there is nothing like soaking a snake helping it shed just to have it poo all over you.

Yep ever since we got into snakes, that particular candy is not flinched from our kid's hallowe'en buckets....yewwww! (I'm lying of course, I adore tootsie rolls! )
WAY TO GET YOUR SNAKE TO TAKE A DUMP:
- put on your best clothes, ones that are brand new, very expensive and preferrably dry clean only, sit down with your snake on your lap
- hand your snake to a non-snake loving friend, assure your friend the snake will neither bite nor poop (this is also covered under the HOW TO GET YOUR SNAKE TO BITE lecture series )
- thoroughly scrub and disinfect your snake's home and feel terribly pleased about how nice and clean it looks and smells
- invite someone over to admire your lovely snake room, open a tub which you just cleaned, sigh, open another, sigh again, open a third....give up at this point, get out the poop scoop and hope the person doesn't now think you keep a dirty snake rack
- post on BPNet about how your snake has not pooped, spend hours gathering good advice, open the tub....sigh....go back to the computer and post..."never mind!"
