That would be cool.
H, check out Barnsdell or Barnsdale park. It's up at the top of Lake Ave in Pas. but it has horseshoe pits, bbq, is fairly open, easy to get to and is the top of the hill.
Herping is just 5 minutes away for those so inclined.
I may not be very smart, but what if I am?

Re: Southern californians unite!!
It's Farnsworth Park.
I don't know why my brain pulls up Barnsdall, I've never been there but even when I was scouting this place a few months ago I was looking for Barnsdall and meaning Farnsworth.

I liked it, but it is about 30 minutes from Alhambra with no traffic.

Re: Southern californians unite!!
could always do it in Whittier narrows park right off of the 60 fwy. Thats a little bit closer to our friends out in the riverside direction. Nvm I like Wes' idea better. That place looks pretty cool. THen we can all go on a wacky herping adventure lol.

Re: Southern californians unite!!
Alright, unfortunately March 21st isn't going to work anymore. March 28th looks much better for me.
As for the parks, Wes's idea sounds fine to me. Farnsdell park sounds good, so if anyone has any issues, please let me know. I'll give it a couple of days to see what others think, and then I will make a reservation!

Re: Southern californians unite!!
Hi,
This is my first time posting here, but a SoCal event sounds great! Anyone coming down to San Diego for the Reptile show in June?
