    Which pastel line for lemonblast?

Hi- looking to maybe pick up a pinstripe to breed with my Graziani line pastel (who is also Het Ghost).
I know that a Pastel x Pin = lemonblast. The word "lemon" in that name got me wondering if it's referring to a NERD lemon pastel in particular.
What kind of difference does Graziani vs Lemon make when being bred to a Pinstripe?

I think that the intensity of the yellow may be affected by the pastel that you choose to use. Lemon pastels are generally known for being a much more intense yellow, and Graziani's for their blushing.

Lemonblast is the name of the morph, not that it is from the Lemon line of Pastels.

Thats what I said too, but Jon from Cold Blooded refuses to call his that since they were made with Blondes. Mine is from a Blonde pastel but I still call her a lemonblast...to each their own I guess

Re: Which pastel line for lemonblast?

It was originally called Lemon Blast because Brian used a Lemon Pastel to make the first Lemon Blasts. I used a Graziani line Pastel to make mine, but I still call them Lemon Blasts.

    Hope that helps,

I agree with Jon from Cold Blooded. They should only be called lemonblasts if they were produced from a lemon bloodline. I also do not think that people should call Pastel Ghosts, "POG" / "SPOG" if they are not created from an orange ghost bloodline.

Well i didn't know about the pog and spog I thought it had to be orange ghost due to Pastel Orange Ghost being abrievated to POG. Who do you know selling pastel ghosts as POG. This is why visual morphs are so bad in my opinion. People are using the cheapest pastel and the cheapest whatever to produce that valiable combo morph. I have seen bee's that look like spiders. I have seen blasts that are very dingy looking. The worst of it is that i sold a local pet store some normals last year that were bright and found them selling them as pastels a week later. What a world.

Thats why you as a breeder need to breed for quality and not junk. And buy quality, not junk.

It's a great way to continue the great lines out there with the best there is out there..
