    I'm curious

How common is it for a female to not become gravid even though copulations are observed? I have two normal females (2700+g and 3100+g) I've observed both locking up with males (a spider and a pastel het ghost) and I was curious what my chances are of actually striking out and not getting any eggs from one or both of them. Any input would be greatly appreciated!!
    Thanks

I have had big females fail to ovulate even after multiple lockups with multiple males. It really depends on alot of factors, so cross your fingers and hope! You wont know until they do!
    Good Luck!!

    Re: I'm curious

If the female is not cycling she will not ovulate even if she has been locking. I have had girls lock for over a year and a half before any success. Keep pairing until you see an ovulation or eggs. Patience is key

Last season I had a 90% production rate with my ball pythons. Keep pairing them. You should start seeing ovulations withing the next few months.

    Good luck.
