New Python - Eyes are kinda glazed over??

Hello all, I am new to this forum but not new to the Ball Python lifestyle. I have a question, that maybe someone here can help me with. The Ball that I just recieved from my father has its eyes kinda glazed over, It does not appear that he is shedding or has previously shed, and my Father said that they have been that way for a couple of weeks..Is this normal? Also, the ball has not eaten in almost a month. can someone please give me any advise that may be helpful, Thanks for reading

Could it be retained eyecaps from this snake's last shed?

Well I thought that too, but the eye looks grey more than retaining eye caps. How long can the eye caps stay on the eyes after the shed? Thanks

    Until they fall off........

Do you have hi-speed internet? I recommend watching the snakebytes show. One of the last ones had a how-to on removing those.

Well put it this way, I had a rescue that came in with 3 retained caps on one eye and 5 on the other.

If they are retaining shed on the eyes you dont want it to stick around too long it could eventually make them blind
    Cheers!
