    Background colors

So I'm just curious I want to put a Marine Corps flag outside the tank covering the back of my aquarium. The thing is, its obviously red. VERY red. Does the color effect the snake? Will the bright red stress him out? I'm just not sure.. Thanks

    Re: Background colors

putting two and two together after reading some of these boards, it is said that bp's cannot see red light, so If i were to guess i would say they probably can't see the red background but I could definitely be wrong...

I don't see why it would bother him, but as always, keep an eye on your snake's behavior and adjust accordingly.
