    Whoever recommended the Febreeze plug-in...

Cannot remember who recommended it and raved. I thought it was probably over rated... but I picked on up this last weekend and am stunned at the difference in the rat room.

I mean my rats do not smell like a gentle spring rain, but it does not smell like it is raining rats.

Overnight it cut the smell down by easily 3/4 of what it was.

I was a day away from rat cleaning day, but they were stinkier than usual and I knew I had no time to attend to them.

    Definite Magic Bullet.

Wow, I love hearing you guys rave about how your rat room smells like a lilac bouquet.

I've been using the glade plug in for years but they have to be replaced too quickly. how long do the febreeze last?

their site says it lasts 30 days on the low setting.

Mine says it is supposed to be good for 3 months I think? It has an indicator on it that darkens as it is getting close to needing to be changed.

In my rat room, I give it two weeks TOPS.

Are we talking a scent plug in, or a filter fan plug in?

Filter fan plug in. One of the those big gawdy montrosities that I would be told in no uncertain terms was interupting the "flow" of any other room... but in the rat room I can get away with it.

Heh... worried that it comes in 11-7?

Mine does not smell like lilacs, it just does not smell.

At work we have these heinous sprays in the WC... so rather than smelling like... well you know... the WC smells like you know with a soft breeze of raspberry...

    It is not like that...

Nice, I'll have to give that a try. Usually my rodent room doesn't stink, but it does have that sorta "pet smell" to it.

    Thanks for sharing Bruce!
