An Ivory is a form of leucism, but it is the muddier of the bunch (not a bad thing - many of us love ivories).
There are other cleaner leucistics, so most people discern between Ivories and Leucistics.
Not the best explanation, but I am sure someone can elaborated (or debunk) what I just said.
Welcome to the site, she is a nice snake.

Re: My new baby. Luesistic Ball Python
def. = definitely.
Ivory is a different morph, completely separate from the blue-eyed and black-eyed leucistics. It is the super form of the yellowbellies

Re: My new baby. Luesistic Ball Python
Hi,
Def = definately.
And No, she looks to be an ivory - if you look carefully at her eyes you can see they are dark blue rather than jet black. And both the ivory and the black BEL have red pupils.
As I said though check out some of the morphs that you can combine with yellowbelly - she is a great snake to have in your collection.

Re: My new baby. Luesistic Ball Python
If I can make another comment... why not ask the guy that gave her to you?
People do not accidentally buy or breed Ivories and not know what they have (or Leucistics either for that matter).
I am sure it would take one phone call to determine exactly what she is.
