"Python Epidemic"
I am watching the history Channel right now and they are talking about the "Python Epidemic" and how soon they will reach as far north as New Jersey and that they could be dangerous to humans as they will feed on any warm blooded mammal!
"Just because you don't see them does not mean they are not there"
I can not believe that people that are supposedly hematological experts would propagate this garbage! But then again they are "owned" by the gov. so they are paid to spread this BS!
It is so disheartening to see this sort of stuff. I needed a place to vent and i knew that you guys would understand my frustration.

can i call SHENANIGANS??? on that?? retics and burms are the only ones that would really pose a danger to us...im sure im missing a few, but i believe they are the most frequently let loose *clears throat* i mean lost. and they would have a very hard time surviving our winters...i live in long island, and i want to leave.

I can not believe the garbage I was hearing! The "scientific map" they were showing. It showed that they would extend along both coasts and half way up the united states!
It was saddening.

Re: "Python Epidemic"
I live in New Jersey. It just snowed here the other day temps were in the low 30's in the day time. There was a ton of ice on the ground. I don't see how any burm, ball, retic etc could live and thrive here. Some things just amaze me!!!!

X2! especially with the new proposals on banning large snakes in the house & the ban on pythons specifically in the senate(at least thats what I've gathered from the USARK mailings) there is not really anything more dangerous to the hobby than having junk like this going to the public, especially as scared as everybody is of snakes for no reason already
