    Re: checking on the pairs

Some things never change I'm guilty of "over checking" too

Just something so cool about seeing pairs locked up (which after catching them I try not to look again for a whole day) to females coiled and glowing.

    Why isn't it June already?

I leave my guys alone. It's hard to resist the temptation, but I try to give them their privacy.

    Re: checking on the pairs

Friday was feeding day for all of mine, and today I was cleaning them all and checking on all the females and their various stages of development. One of my favorite girls is starting to glow.

    Re: checking on the pairs

i check on them once before work once after work and once before bed they are in a custom built snake room in my garage and during breeding season i like to leave them alone and keep it nice and dark in their alot less stress, they do spend most of their lifes underground in burrows and surface at night to eat so whats the need for the lights! . . . and it seems to be working i've had two ovulations and a nice "glow" from another female in the last couple days

Ditto. I check on them once a day and if I can definitely see a good lock/breeding/copulation going on through the tub, I don't even open it (well sometimes I do to snap a pic or something).
