Re: She fell 3 times :[
Not to go off-topic, but here is an exmple of why you need to keep a very watchful eye on her.
We were playing Blokus and we had xena out and my roomate let her crawl over the kitchen counter where we were playing no biggie right she was exploring, well she started to go across the stove no biggie, I was keeping an eye on her and thought when she gets to the other side I'll reach over and bring her back, well half way across the ceramic top stove she decides to venture into the the oven vent space! (that I wasn't aware that was there)
she got almost half her body in, roomate ran to shut off breaker for stove, while I held onto snake.
We had to pull stove out , remove back & top panels to get her out. the space she got into I couldn't put my index finger into.
So the moral of this story is...........

Why do people feel it necessary to put snakes around their necks?

I usually let my older ones hang out around my neck while I do tank cleaning/maintenance and they are content to do so, part of our bonding time

Re: She fell 3 times :[
The farthest Karma has ever "fallen" was when she slid from my stomach onto the bed I was laying on I have never put her around my neck. It just doesn't seem safe when she's only around 2 feet long. Maybe when she's older and bigger I will...but I personally like handling a snake with my hands. I've actually managed to do some minor cleaning with Karma curled up on my hand I guess it's whatever both you and your snake are comfortable with

It's awkward to handle big snakes without putting them around your neck...
