Just curious about why you have a problem with it and would consider anyone breeding it just doing it out of greed? Seems to have a totally normal life aside from not having scales why shouldn't it be bred? I can't wait to own and breed these one day. For me, I would rather breed these than a spinning/wobbling spider any day.

I guess i just think it looks nasty...

i'm under the same questioning as pfan151 as to what the issue is as far as not breeding these? it seems to me to be an awesome snake unless we're missing some detail?

i heard people, who i assume know a lot more than me, bring up good arguments against breeding this, such as health reasons..the derma ball someone mentioned that is like this lacked heat pits...didnt check on this one, and the skin probably isnt tough as scales...though it might be actually, maybe the skin is pretty strong> maybe they have heat pits??
guess im jus still in the its nasty column...imo

It probably doesn't have heat pits, because the actual pits or holes are formed by scales. However, at the back of the pits on a normal snake, there is still some skin that covers the area the receives the heat signature. I am sure these snakes can still snese heat, but do not have the scales to form the appearance of a hole or pit.

Exactly what I believe as well. It would be interesting to try to feed it an unheated room temp FT rat and see if there is a difference in feeding response with a heated up rat. I would think that would put the heat pit issue to rest one way or the other.
