Re: Home-made caging is coming along nicely. (Pic heavy)
Oh, and someone brought up the heated flex-watt causing fumes. We didn't put any sort of glue or sealant on or near the flex-watt. We kept the glue as far away from it as possible, and I really don't think it'll heat up enough to cause a problem anyway. The lighting gives off a little heat on its own (just warm to the touch) so the flex-watt won't be heating up very much.
I don't see any other way of heating it if not the way we've done it. But, I don't think I'll have any issues. There is also a panel for ventilation along the back wall.

I was planning to build myself some enclosures like this once the weather gets nicer but wasn't sure if I'd be able to cover the flexwatt with something like tiles, so its cool to see that you did it, please post how it works out.
you don't happen to have instructions on building this do you? or at least the plans for it.

Radient heat panels would have worked great with these cages!!! But the flexwatt should do the trick! Cant wait to see the final product

Alright, Mr. Moneybags. Some of us have to make due with what we already have...

Very nicely done. I think the snakes will enjoy them too.
