Just talked to the wife and we are going to go. Any suggestions on getting her to let me spend money would be greatly appreciated.

Re: How do you tell a Yellowbelly from a Normal?
I'm not going to comment on whether or not that snake is a YB because people more knowledgeable than me already have.
However, I see the person is selling "Abbotts Okeetees" corn snakes as well as the BP. The father of the Abbott's is pictured, and it does not look like an Abbott's to me. Lee Abbott put a lot of work into selective breeding to get Okeetees with very rich colors and very thick black bands, which the father does not have. I would guess the mother is an Abbott's, but crossing her with some other snake means the babies are not Abbott's.
So now we have a questionable YB and questionable Abbott's Okeetees. With only the information on the link you posted, I would be very hesitant to buy anything from that breeder.
As far as breeders in the Northeast, I would recommend looking into NERD if you are close enough. I have not personally dealt with them, but I've seen a lot of very positive reviews.

Re: How do you tell a Yellowbelly from a Normal?
Hi, I am the breeder in question. Thanks for all the slamming. I got the supposed yellow belly at an auction in Michigan from a supposedly good breeder "Natures Spirit Reptiles". It has a patternless belly therefore I assume it is a yellow belly. I didnt breed the snake.
As for the abbotts. I got the male from Ben Seigel and the female (who no one on here mentioned) from Lee himself. The babies come out spectacular.
I breed on a very small scale and dont appreciate the bad mouthing going on in here.
I shall take a few more pictures of the supposed yellow belly and post them to the same place if anyone wants to take a look at them. Maybe I got taken too.
