Talking So she didn't say no..

So I talked about my sister not allowing me to have a snake.. Turns out I was wrong. I asked her today if I could get one and she said "I guess..but why would you want a snake?" LOL. I figured that was going to be her response. She said it didn't really matter that much. I think she may be slowly coming around to the idea that I would even have a snake in the first place. I told her that snakes are cool and she was like "Whatever.".

So If I do decide to move with them I can get a snake.
    (They aren't moving until Summer)

I'm not going to get one right now though because I don't know where I am going to end up. Some places may not even be snake friendly so I have to figure that out first.

I found "pet friendly" apartments but they didn't mention reptiles. We shall see!

Do you get that "Why would you want a snake?" from other families and friends who don't understand?

When I lived with my dad he never let me have ANY pets. NO snakes, fish, turtles, bunnies..nothing. My mom gave me a dog(oops) and he said "no way!" My dad is NOT any animal lover. My mom had 5 dogs when I was in middle school. She let us kids all pick one out.

I guess I was wrong. Turns out she didn't care. When I talked about it before she didn't really say much. I sort of thought it meant that she wouldn't. Maybe she might prefer I have a snake than my cats and dog. LOL.
