    Update

I found my pair breeding tonight. This is the first time I've seen them locked up so I'm pretty excited. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

    Re: Update

Those are beauties.. A few years back I saw a pair of babies in the store and wanted to get into it but.. they bit me so many times and took off like a racer. Do they mellow out when they get older? I have only seen one adult in person being handled over a decade ago.

    Good luck with those.

    Update

The pair above has bred a few times, and the female has stopped eating. I'm feeling pretty good about her being gravid. She did latch onto my arm today, I can confirm that they have lots of teeth!

    Re: Update

I keep a D'Albertis' python and have to say that the reputation they have hasn't been warrented with my young male. They are lightning fast and do strike quicker than you can blink but I've been bitten once and then was when he missed his food item, they have the most teeth of any python so the bite will leave a mark. If you get a true CB youngster and spend enough time with it then there's not reason at all for it to not calm down one thing I've noticed though once you've established a bond with the animal and have a regular handling routine don't break it, go an extended period without handling this species and you'll be back to square one.

Here's a couple pictures of my Leiopython Albertisiii - Northern White Lipped Python.

If you want a good site reference for this underrated species pm me, or pm me if there's anything more you wish to know.
