    Saved this pic from a few years back...this boa was swallowing a rabbit and the teeth got caught on the rabbit as it was swallowing...swallowed his own head! First and only time I'd ever seen it happen.

    Since Lampropeltis are cannibalistic, they have been recorded to start eating themselves, starting at their tail.

    I imagine he just got hungry! I had a corn that smelled mouse on himself and started to bite himself...he quickly found out that it hurt!

    That boa pic was wild, bet that was pretty crazy to watch. Not sure what my reaction would've been at the time.
