i realize all BPs have their own personality buut when ever i have mine outta her cage she never balls up - which i guess is a good sign - but more importantly she never settles down... shes always on the move .. so is there anything wrong ?

Ours balls when we first pick up and that last for about 10 seconds... if he/she is active in the enclosure (feeding time, night, or out for a walk) then as soon as the top is open, out he/she comes.

How is your BP in the enclosure, Normal activity such as in a hide during the day, "active" at night, or near feeding days?

I would not worry as "balling up" is their defensive mechinism next to their teeth

she acts fine in the cage sleeps during the day mostly and comes out at night for a while ... im not worried so much about the not balling up as i am that she does not settle down ... ive read on some forums that some owners can mediate with their snake on their lap for 20 mins or more with out the snake taking off ... im not really into the whole mediation thing but id like to be able to watch some tv or surf the net without my snake disappearing on me if i take my eyes off of her for 30 seconds lol

I take my eyes off of Stan and he's gone.

When I let him out of his tank to wander around I have to keep an eye on him constantly because he is always on the move. I figure he is probably stressed and trying to get to a hiding space so when he is crazy active I let him go back in his tank so he can hide.

constantly trying to escape from you can be a sign that the snake is stressed. i would think that with regular handling it may calm down and eventually chill out with you while you watch tv or whatever. some may never get used to handling but if you take it slow and give it some time to get used to you and handling then it should work out. good luck!
