    tub cleaning products.

I read somewhere, bleach and water or a quat disinfectant. Well at my work I can get bottles of this stuff- OxivirTB it is a "general virucide bactericide, tuberculoside, fungicide, sanitizer disinfectant. It is safe for hospitals which leads me to believe I can use it for my rack tubs, question is can I?

^I use this once a month diluted in water in a spray bottle, let tubs soak and hides in this.
Will kill just about anything, don't get on skin, clothes, and definately make sure all is rinsed out ot tubs before snakes go back in.

^ I use this also diluted in water in a spray bottle, I use it every time I spot clean my balls. Great for spot cleaning, not even as close to be as harmful to snakes(diluted)
But this does not kill as much as the one stated above.

You can also use just plain old bleach diluted.

There are a ton of more cleaning products you just need to search on the forum topics.

I use Pet Focus by Mango for both my birds and the reptiles. Kills just about everything, I don't have to rinse it, and it's definitely safe for them.

Chlorhexidine 1:10 water mixture for spot cleaning.

Bleach 1:10 water mixture for serious cleaning.

The bottle says one ounce per gallon of water. Your mix is way stronger. Is that necessary?

Probably not... But since it doesn't really harm the animal by way of toxicity, and I like to make sure it is effective, I have done it that way forever.

Plus, I have a gallon jug of the stuff. I like the pretty blue

Edit: Also, its not going on the snake or in the snake themselves at all, just inanimate objects such as tubs and waterdishes, which are all dry before use, which is why I feel comfortable with the 1:10 mixture instead of the one ounce to gallon rule.

Lol...I love the blue color too. And the way it stings if you accidentally spray it on a scratch (then I know it's killing germs...ha!).
