    FYI you can get avian incubator thermostats for like $5 from most feed stores... at least around here. they're an inline tstat, just like a dimmer would be, but they work in an on-off fashion (meaning they'll be fine for those quail eggs but not for, say, pythons).

    that is what i would do anyway.

    Do you have any product names? that would seem to be very useful for many things, not necessarily just an incubator.
