    What to get next...

As you all know (if you've read my profile) one of my hobbies is Replica Sword collecting. There was a long list of things I liked, but I've finally narrowed it down to these 5 options. All the swords listed are made of carbon steel, which is pretty close to the real thing, so I would really treat them as all having the same quality.

P.S. If you're interested, the website I buy my replica swords from is called
    brothersmith-swords.com
P.P.S. If these types aren't familiar to you, try to do some research.
P.P.P.S. This one's here just to annoy you

You are welcomed to post why you chose that, or questions about the swords.

I have a few Dectrative and Real Katanas. That's about the only type of swords I really like. I would love to have a Zweihander though.

Yeah, I wasn't that specific. It's the $39.95 one titled "Viking Battle Sword with scabbad" (don't forget the missing "r"). I like those ones, but I still have a price range (the rapier's too expensive) and I only go for carbon steel swords (that Trojan is stainless) now. There's a lot of choices in this hobby (just like snake-keeping).

I'm pretty flexible with my sword preferences, as you can see with those choices. The only swords I don't like are rapiers and crucifix style (waaay too common) and ones made of stainless steel, but I'll take anything else really.
I like Zweinhanders too and I was going to get one from them but it went up
    $20 so now it's $90.

That Shiryasa Katana up there is heat-tempered carbon steel , if that's what you mean. And I'm not sure I could afford something pre-WWII. Replicas are usually more affordable, so that's why I go for them instead of historical artifacts, but I always try to get ones made of carbon steel which makes them almost as authentic.

BTW, if anyone actually finds a cinquedea for under $30, let me know.

    Re: What to get next...

I also collect swords and have 37 made of functional high carbon steel.
If your looking for cheap and want something you can actualy jump into battle with get one from Paul Chen. I have 9 of his swords and you can cut down trees with them.
I have 7 swords from Cold Steel which seem to hold an edge better then any.
