Sounds fine to me, as long as you throw in a bottle of barbecue sauce with me....

Re: Someone find and kill this man.

This man appears to me to come from several generations of poverty. His turtle hunting skills that have been taught to him have probably fed many of his ancestors. He is no different than people in India or Africa or South America that obtain food by similar methods and who may be missing teeth as well. Do those of you who have feelings of superiority and contempt when seeing this guy have the same feelings when watching videos of indigenous hunters from other lands?

Well first off, you are right, there are several tribes in "Remote Places" of the earth that still use very primitive ways of hunting. And still do things as they used to many years ago. But last time I checked Kentucky was not a remote place of the earth. In fact I'm pretty sure they even have cars,TV's, and computers. So maybe it is time this individual also evolved.

I am still a college student, though I do hope I am able move out of the country when I retire. I think all the work of getting out of America would not be worth it at this point in my life.

And I apologize for the anti-American words, I think they came out wrong looking back at it.

If you were ever "way back in a holler" in Kentucky you would realize that "We aren't in Kansas anymore Toto".

    LOL, no doubt about that.

I wonder though, and I haven't read the entire thread, but is he wiping out entire populations or does he understand sustainable harvesting?

1 how in the hell do you loose your teeth from a chainsaw accident?

2 at least they didn't show him chewing on that turtle meat with his gums!

Kickback, haven't you ever used a chainsaw before? That's why you wear a hard hat with a faceplate.

Re: Someone find and kill this man.

Oh man!..LMAO!!!! I really don't think I uderstood a single word that guy said except for "Snake". What a charachter. When he opens his mouth I don't know whether to quiver...or kick a field goal... It is sad he doesn't realize the agony he causes those turtles before killing them.

Sorry guys... But I have to jump on a soap box here for a minute...so bare with me...

Secondly... As far as the random un-called for comments against the USA, You are entitiled to your oppinion... But don't sit here and talk about how crappy this country while you are living here and taking advantage of all the great things this country has to offer, when all you have to offer is trash talk; Address what makes you so unhappy. It is your right to say what you want (One of the reasons you should be thanking the USA)... But it is my right to tell you that you are just a cry baby dreaming about the green grass on the other side of the fence, and I will tell you that you should get the hell out if you aren't going to stop crying. I get so sick of hearing people bad mouth the USA when they were born and raised here while their parents bought their baby food using welfare checks. Being in the college age demographic... I am ashamed that a lot of my peers have the attitude that "our government is evil"... and "down with the system" just becuase it is the cool trendy way to think at the college age... It has always been like this. College age kids buy into propoganda more than any other age group I believe. I would love to see the people who talk like this pick any country... Any country in the whole friggin world to move to and start a life. You will quickly start to realize why people all over the world continue to try to migrate to the USA to start new lives... In the land of the free. You live in a country where your voice matters... So if you really don't like the way something is going... YOU HAVE THE ABILITY TO SPEAK UP AND CHANGE IT... Instead of sitting back and using your freedom of speech to say how unhappy you are here, and how you would be much happier living somewhere else. THEN GO!!! If you have an issue with status quo... You can step up and try to make a difference (there not to many countries where this is possible)... Or you can sit on your butt and complain about how nothing is how you like it, but then what good are you?

(Deep Breathe...) I'm sorry to continue on that off topic tangent... But there are sometimes when I just HAVE to say something.

    ~Joe
