If you want male leopard geckos babies then incubate at 88-90 degrees and for females 68-80 degrees. You can candle the eggs at around 3 days and see if they are fertile, they will have a red glow or veins forming and if they are infertile they will be clearish yellow, but always wait to be sure in a week or two if they are fertile and if not throw them out!! Good Luck and let me know also what morphs do you have? Melissa
Thanx for the input. I did read up a bunch before doing this, I have them incubating at 82F and 97% humidity, so I am trying!

    I will try this, thanx!

I provide a Tupperware type egg laying box full of wet sphagnum moss with a door cut in the side rather than the top to retain humidity. Each female lays plenty of eggs through the season so don't worry if the first ones don't work out. The first set of eggs laid by a female are often infertile and after that they are good.
Yeah, as a matter of fact I put the laybox (with eco-earth dampened) LAST NIGHT

    Congrats, Pat!!

It is fairly common for the first eggs of the season (especially for first year breeders) to be infertile. My first year, the first clutch was infertile. But by the time I was really ready to give up on them, the next clutch was ready to hatch!

Now, feed her lots of yummy mealworms and get ready for round two in 2-4 weeks!! I will look forward to some pics of little Bell enigmas running around your incubator!

    Re: Eggs!!!!!!!!

Agreed. Put them in a container with moist substrate (i use vermiculite and squeeze the water out as much as you can) they should plump up ina couple days if theyre firtile.
