Re: question...
My bp george had the same issue with the top of his head... I think its probably that he was just a bit rough on himself during the shed. It has cleaned up pretty nicely since he did it last shed. I can still tell its there but it doesnt look like a problem. I'd keep an eye on it because when those last scales do come of it may be a bit raw and prone to infection.
BPs are pretty durable snakes and even with a lil scratch or so they will heal right up. just keep an eye out for bad things and let him heal. Should be fine
This is what George looked like a month ago, but now its all healed up and only looks like some slight discoloration
Thanks!

Re: question...
Hi,
It's hard to be certain from the pictures but it looks like a piece of retained shed over a wound.
The bit in the middle looks almost like a gouge on the top of her head - are you sure she didn't scarpe it on cage furniture or anything? And the marking on her side is definately a scar.

Re: question...
I have to agree with D.
The bit on the head looks like a deep gouge, almost like a rat bite or something of the like. The bit on the side looks like a scar from a burn. I'd be willing to bet your snake was burned at some point.
hope that helps.
