    Well....
Do you have the necessities: Tub, tank or cage? Thermostat? Thermometer/hygrometer? Heat source? Drinking bowl? Two hides? Substrate?

If so, is it set up and running smoothly?

Everything comes with the snake. I'll have to deal with the husbandry as soon as I get him.

Do you have a QT area set up for the snake away from your other reptiles?

Yep, I plan to keep him in my closet away from my corn. If I notice any signs of disease, then I will move him into another room, but until then all I have to work with is my closet.

Re: Soon-To-Be New Owner, Need Help!

Ok, so I got some more info about this guy.

He's feeding on either mice (size wasn't specified), or rat pups, both live. He has in the past eaten frozen/thawed, and was doing so until he was about 7 months old. He then started refusing f/t and started eating live. I don't mind feeding him live, but i don't want to be going out every week to get him food. So I have to switch him over to frozen. Can anybody give me some tips on how to do this?

Also, he is in a ten gallon tank with hide and water dish. I probably need to get him a second hide for both temp. sides.
