I gotta say, I really don't agree with this post. How could marrying your best friend be a bad thing? The fun doesn't HAVE to end when you get married. It's all in how you look at things. Obviously, marriage is more serious than friendship or dating (that's kind of the point), but that doesn't mean there can't be any fun. You just have to shift until you find the right balance. Just my opinion...

    Wendy,

In fact, I do have trust issues but not in the direction you're thinking. I trust too easily but for you to jump in and start pointing fingers of be having "trust issues" you said yourself, you're not educated in that area. Besides, I wrote a whole 4 sentences, even an educated professional wouldn't make that assumption based on what little was written.

He is committing his all to her, he said he wasn't even talking to other girls anymore. Don't discourage him. OP love her and be happy

(this subject is dropped as far as i'm concerned)

again OP Congrats, I'm happy for you.

Mel, I have to say from experience, that being best friends, then dating a best friend is great!....but to marry one is both good and bad. Bad because the relationship changes (no matter how much anyone says it doesn't) when your married. Mortgages, Bills, Kids, In-laws, jobs, saving for retirement, saving for college, yadda yadda yadda, makes the fairytale come to a screeching halt!
Its good becasuse once the looks fade, kids leave and you cannot do the things you once did when younger, you have a best friend to grow old with....
