Exclamation Northern Countries Check Your Temps!

Hello to all my fellow northen snake fanatics. CHECK YOUR TEMPS!!! Its winter now (-10C) where I am an I was lucky enough to notice the outside temperature caused a 10 degree drop in my temps that I was abel to correct before anything bad happened. Even if you are not in the north check them anyway to ensure your heating equipment is working correctly. Mr. Belt is fine now and hopefully the adjustments I made will help bring him around, heres what I did if you need ideas

Moved tank to side of room without window
    Turned on additional UTH
Rearranged decorum so that favorite hide was on warm side under CHE
I also plan to invest in some styrofoam ASAP to insulate 3 sides of the tank

I hope this post saves many a snake catastophy this winter!

I rearranged my room earlier last week and moved my kids away from the window. I'm definitely keeping an eye on them.

I've got a clock with a built in thermometer and hygrometer. I've got a room covered with plants that naturally give off some good ambient room humidity and use a space heater so that my room stays warm for ambient temps since I don't use lamps. Both tanks are away from the window, and one stands not far from my mini fridge that gives off that extra bit of warmth. I seem to be doing okay.

I use thermostats... sooooo... minimal temp fluctuations.
