What a sick world we live in.. this is straight outta a horror film!!

Has anyone else heard/read about this! Makes me sick! I hope 3 get the book thrown at them and meet up with some not so friendly inmates! What is this world coming to... Poor kid, I wish him the best of luck with being able to get past the mental scars that they so abusively caused him.

Based on what most of my family does for a living, I have some insight into the corrections system in this country....let's put it this way, if you mess with kids or get put away for a sexual offense, you get no slack from the inmates....or the guards. These two, and all three if they can catch the other chick, are in for some of the longest time you can do. What they've done to this kid will get turned on them once they hit lock-up...prisoners have an interesting sense of humor when it comes to pederist and rapist...nuff said.

This makes me sick. Society is really messed up. I am seriously considering not having kids to have them grow up in the world we live in. I love kids but I think rather be the good uncle for my niece or my friends kids.

I hope you're right.. but based on our personal observations, it doesnt always happen, we (unfortunately) know a sick monster who killed a man in cold blood & molested 3 kids (one of whom is an adult now) and he's been in a cell by himself for his protection for over a year. oh that made us all so angry we were hoping he would get what was coming to him in there. his time will come in court tho, just like it will come for these 3!

Crimes against children, IMO, are the worst kind. Kids are so helpless, and look up to adults.. to be hurt by an adult, especially one that they trust.. makes me shake my head. I have more animosity against child predators than I do against many murderers, drug kingpins, and thieves.

My sister was killed by a drunk driver 6 years ago. The drunk person who hit her walked away with a few scratches. When I found out the news I loaded up a pistol, and was ready to go out, find the person, and put a bullet between their eyes. At the time I didn't care if it meant getting locked up the rest of my life. This person killed my sister, and I was going to kill them. My parents had to physically restrain me. If it wasn't for them I would be serving a life sentence in prison right now.

But over time, I have forgiven the person who did this to my sister. I realized that no matter what happened to this person (they are still in prison), it wouldn't undo what had been done. I believe they are being punished enough, because they have to live everyday in prison knowing what they have done. Nothing that happens to them will bring my sister back.

If I've learned anything through all this it is that we forgive people no matter what. I don't care what they did, no matter how horrible, how insane, how mad and upset it makes you. They are the people that need help and forgiveness most of all. Forgiving this person is the hardest thing I've had to do in my life, but also one of the best things I have done.

So I can't agree with the people who hope these perps get molested/raped/beaten in jail. That is not going to fix things for the victim, or the victim's family. They will suffer enough for what they have done. They are obviously mentally ill and need help, not torture. 6 years ago I would've wanted these people to get beaten/raped/molested, but not anymore.

i agree!!!!! kids are so pure, all they know is love & trust. and to have that broken by any kind of abuse is heartbreaking & sickening!!

That was an amazing post. It's truly hard not to want to be brutal when someone does something so awful, but revenge is an act of helplessness, and it is a primitive notion. I am not sure I could remember that truth under the pressure of dealing with this kind of situation, but i like to think i'd at least try.

My heart goes out to you & your family, I am deeply sorry for your loss. You are a strong, kind hearted forgiving person, being able to find such forgiveness with such a careless accident.

And as for a person having to live everyday with what they done, yes I agree to this to a point. what about all these people out there that have NO remorse! the man I mentioned in the above post about a shooting & molesting.. He is my fiance's step father. HE SHOWS NO REMORSE! he walks into the courtroom all huffed up, cocky and stone faced. The man he shot, was my fiances aunts ex husband, the man was killed in front of his own 3 children, I cant imagine watching my father get shot 6 times point blank and then die in front of my eyes.

So yes, with normal people "accidents" are horrible to live with and is punishment enough in many cases, lord knows if I accidentally hurt someone, I would live to regret it EVERYDAY & would hate myself.. but for the select few that are wired wrong inside the womb, I say they deserve everything they get in prison!

Here you are saying they are wired wrong inside the womb (which if it's true means that something happened to them at a stage of their lives for which they can not be held accountable) and then saying they deserve to have horrible things happen to them as a result of what they've done, which again may not be due to any of their own wrongdoing (leading up to this point).

I'm not trying to say that no one should be held accountable, but it must be taken in to consideration that not everyone has the same cards dealt to them in life. You have to wonder what happened to this person to make what they did seem like a good idea at the time. No one wants to empathize with a killer or child molester, but that;s why there is an amendment barring cruel and unusual punishment.. even if it's not fully recognized/enforced.
