Bad shed
well its been about a week and half since my bbp went into shed.. got that real ghost white look and her head started to peel. i left her alone for 2 days.. u heard that usualy within 2 to 3 days after going blue they shed. but she didnt. she still had that clear skin from her neck all the way back.. started flaking in some spots on her back but not much.. her temps are correct and so is the humidity. i placed the water bowl over the UTH and mist the tank every morning. isnt a week way to long for a shed?
i placed her in a tub with luke warm water and a rag in there.. left her in there for about 30 min.. i did this twice in 3 days. most of the shed did come of.. but her tail, right at the tip is still covered with shed all around. mayb like half an inch of her tail is.. and some spots on her belly and side but most of it came off.. my questioon is should i try to take off the piece at the tail? or will it come off on its own next shed?
thanks in advance!

You can leave it alone (It won't hurt anything by leaving it there) and it should come off with the next shed. Maybe bump up the humidity for the next shed - I noticed you said temps & humidity are fine but you didn't specify as to what they were...so I'm just throwing that out there.
Good luck!

Temps on the hot side run 91- 95.. cool side 81-85.. humidity stays at about 50 -55 on a normal basis. but was at 65-70 because i was misting it and had a water bowl over the UTH

What are you using to measure the humidity?

One of those gauges from petsmart

Re: Bad shed
Those gauges aren't accurate.
Lots of people use Acu-Rite thermometer/hygrometer. These sell for about $12 at Lowe's, and other places.
Also, see if you can't get that tail shed off. Sometimes the shed skin will dry out to the point where it restricts blood flow to the tail. Worse case scenario: tail tip goes necrotic and has to come off.

Re: Bad shed
I used one of those cheaper dial hygrometers and thermometers when I first go my BP. That thing always showed my humidity to be around 65%, yet my BP appeared to have papery looking skin and maybe a little dehydrated. I bought one of those ExoTerra digital hygrometers and when i stuck it in the cage it read 32%. After bumping up the humidity, I've had no problems with his appearance and he's shed twice and both times, he shed fully and in one peice. Those dial hygrometers are cheap and I don't trust them.

i would give the snake more time to shed on its own next time before you start soaking it.
