The greatest fun on earth.
I have had my Bumblebee BP for almost a month now. I can't believe at 46 years old I feel like a kid with this new addition. I am sooooo hooked on BP's, I just love my Bee and have to hold back from taking her out of the cage every minute. Even my wife is crazy about her. I am searching for BP number 2 now, probably a Lesser Platinum, and I will have to dish out the big bucks to get a pure white Lucy with the baby blues. This hobby is going to get ugly soon, I already got rid of my Woma and I am gearing up to fill my extra bedroom with BP's. I know what you guys mean now about the addiction, I don't think there is a 12 step program out there to cure it.

I don't know about a 12 step program, but I've only had my BP for a month now, and I'm already starting to look for a four bedroom house so I can have a BP room....yeah, I got it bad

Hmm; well, the economy might cure it...
So, when you say that you're looking at lessers and then you talk about BEL's, are you thinking of making your own BEL's??
This year we've had two confirmed locks between my mojo female and lesser male and I am super excited and hoping so much to see a BEL come out of an egg!! That would be so cool!!!!
Anyway, I was just wondering what you were really hoping for.... I got a little confused....

Re: The greatest fun on earth.
I know what you mean, though i have been into herps all my life, keeping various amphibians (mostly) and reptiles (anolis and some indigenous self caught species) all the time, even if it just had been a frog in my aquarium, i feel i just made the first step in my "real herp life", the reason for this might be that i have always had the desire to keep snakes, but first my mom and then my ex-girlfriend (8-year relationship) had a phobia. But now I am on the hook... and well i am a smoker, on and off for some time, but i think it will be harder to let the snakes go, than the smoke....

Before I had 40 I had one... still feel like a complete fledgling.
When the bug bites it bites hard!
Sounds like your snake is in an attentive home.

I'll second that thought. I thought I would be ok with just one when I first started...... Now I have 7 and I'm looking at more to try and fill up my racks lol.

Well, I hope to breed some as well, but I plan on buying a Lesser first, then I want to buy a BEL. I also want a Super Pastel. Pin, Desert, who knows what else. I can't wait until the reptile shows come back to San Diego next summer so I can pick a couple up there. I'm with you on your statement, that would be insane to see a BEL coming out of an egg that you produced. If it happens you got to post the event here for all to see.
