Genetic disorder???

i just got my first ball python from a show yesterday n now lookin at him closer i see this bump at the end of him right above the anal gland. im not sure what it is, ive had people say its a spinal kink...your help is greatly appreciated! thankyou

Oooohh yeah that definitely does look like a kink. Did the seller inform you of it???? I would definitely have an issue with them if they did not. However a kinked snake, even ones that are horribly kinked, much worse than that, can live a healthy life. Ralph Davis did a video on some of his caramels that are terribly kinked that eat fine, get around ok and overall seem fairly healthy.

It's up to you what you want to do but I would most likely be asking for my money back.

i got him from the cleveland reptile show. i guess i should of paid more attention, but im still kinda new to the bp world. hes a great snake thou. the guy i bought it from said hes been eating n pooping fine. i plan on keep him. im not going to breed but r there any issues i need to know about for when he gets larger??? thankyou all
