Rat escaped.. need ideas to lure him..

I had a rat out I was trying to tame and he ran into my subwoofer. I put the subwoofer into a cage so if he does come out he is still captive.

I am wondering if there is any food that is irresistible to rats that I could use to lure him out? I tried taking it apart but its sealed good and can't be taken apart without damaging it.

Take a weighted piece of cardboard, and tape it over the subwoofer hole. When he comes out he wont be able to get back in.

I concur with the peanut butter. Put a hide in there with some fun rat stuff to entice him to not return to the sub.
