Re: A few retic questions.
Hmmm. 10' is a bit big and small. You can go with superdwarfs that only get about 6'. I think honey island dwarfs max out about 8'. Your jampea dwarfs, I know someone with a female that is 17'. Largest jampea male I've heard of is 14'. I'm sure there are more I haven't listed. But I can only think of so many of them.
I would drop Bob Clark an email. He's like the retic king.

Re: A few retic questions.
Actually, I just thought of one.
Genetic Stripe retic. They do not get as big as mainlands. Females breed at 10'. They are considered by some people dwarfs. A bit pricey, but nice animals.

Re: A few retic questions.
I just got a half super dwarf that I'm told should max out at 8-10ft
*I love this crazy, tragic, almost magic, awful, beautiful life*

Re: A few retic questions.
Since Mel forgot to plug the breeder of ours, we got him from Garrick at www.crestedgecko.com.
Don't let the name "dwarf" fool you either. Like RKO said, Jampea retics can still get pretty darn big. And then you have the dwarf local bred/mainland crosses...they'll still be good sized too.
Ours was from a pairing of a small sunfire male to a Super Dwarf female. Like Melanie said, males should top out 8-10ft. and females somewhere around 12ft.
I'd look for something bred into SD blood, or a pure SD.

Re: A few retic questions.
There's really no telling with the dwarfs so far. The first Jampea's imported were small. Then people start seeing them hit 14', 15', 16', 17' and are like "what kind of dwarfs are these?".
Most believe it's due to the differences of food on the islands.
I have heard of dwarf albinos hitting 13'. Still smaller, but still big.
