Wow Albey, not sure whats going on there, but there is something for sure, Is there any male you can breed back to mom or do you have to wait for the females to get up to size?
Custom reptile and amphibian enclosures! As well as other custom wood working.

Here is a shot of the 2006 clutch. Three of them have that Axanthic look.

I kept the two Females from that clutch to breed as possible Hets. I kept one of the Axanthic looking ones and one of the Normal looking ones. Unfortunately since the Albino I just hatched out is a Female it will take another two plus years before I can test anything with her by breeding her back to her Father.
I purchased the pair from Brian at BHB and I have alerted him to this thread. Hopefully he will get one of the many messages I have sent to him and he will weigh in here with his thoughts.

Gorgeous snake IMO!
how can you not like high contrast albinos!
that snake is unique but I would much rather have a high contrast albino.
I'm not your friend buddy!

Awesome! She is a pretty little thing. Very different, but still very pretty. She has an odd color to her since you can't really see much of the yellow. Very neat.
That's a pretty strange pair that you have there. Hopefully you will figure out what is going on with them...no matter what it is, it's not a bad thing! ^_^

Notice how two of the clutch mates have an almost Axanthic look to them. The other two Normal sibs look just like the Normal right above the Albino. I hatched out some that looked like the Axanthic looking ones in the first clutch I produced from this same pairing but they did not stay looking like that. Weird!
Hey Albey,
Ive actually heard of this happening often with breeding het to het albinos together. Some times the albinos come out pure white with the axanthic colored sibs, and the breeder thinking they hit the odds and made a snow. Later on the normal ones would turn back to normal later, and the albino back to well, an albino!
Hope this helps any with understanding what is going on- Matt

Come here little guy. You're awfully cute and fluffy but unfortunately for you, you're made of meat
