Bring your Ball Python to work day DUW!

So yesterday being halloween and all I decided that my costume would be the "crazy snake guy" . So I decided I would bring in my very first normal girl since she's just the biggest sweetheart ever, never balls up, never struck at anyone and loves exploring. She was a HUGE hit! All but one of the girls there came up and held her and we even helped a couple people that had life-long phobias of snakes get over them to an extent. Once people saw that she was not "gross" or "slimy" and wasn't going to just arbitrarily bite people they loosened up a lot and people started passing her around and holding her . It was great to see peoples previous ideas about snakes melt away.

This girl hated snakes before yesterday but after seeing her and touching her she would not stop holding her!



And this is just some of the cables that I make I thought it was cute cuz she was just winding in and out of them lol.




Even the CEO got in on it it was pretty cool. Anyways I know some people are gonna say that I'm an idiot for bringin her in but I got to share my passion for a beautiful animal with my friends and co-workers and it was great!

You make cables? What kinds? I do too, but I make them at home, in my basement.

See that's what I thought would happen so I brought along a tub with a heat pad so I could keep her under my desk in case people started freaking but she literally only spent like 2 hours in there. The rest of the day she was either out chilling with me on my desk or she was getting passed around the office . It was cool to kind of educate people on them and I had people asking me all day to show me other morphs and what my other snakes look like lol. She was a freakin trooper too mad props to her lol. Never balled up, never snapped at anyone, she was even letting people pet her head a little bit which I've NEVER seen a BP do before.

I make engineering cables to test the aircraft fuselage mounted satellite antenna that we build . It's pretty cool. The new version we're working on makes it so that people can get TV, internet and even use their cell phones on a plane at any altitude anywhere in the world!. It's a great company to work for too, they're helping me pay for school and when I get out I have a guaranteed job .

now that's truly cool I work for comcastdoing tech support and I also run a music studio and do web design and a whole buch of other crap that no onec cares about but me lol but either way. I'd love to have the opertunity to tell people about snakes.. that may b e my next thing .. A traveling Snakesman lol

That looks like it was a hit at your job. Mine would be kinda tough to do. I'm waiting for one of the neighbor kids to ask me to take Dante to their school I know a few of them ask me to get them before I feed. I showed 2 of them feeding and they were hooked.

awww I would love to take kyros to college. I take him absolutely everywhere when its nice outside! He's such a good boy!
