Re: What do you get when . . .
With a pastel x spider you will get some normals, some pastels and some bees. with a super pastel you will not get any normals.

So you don't need a "Super Spider" for it to not make any normals or just the Super Pastel? . . . . and does it matter which one is male and which is female?

Re: What do you get when . . .
Just one has to be a super and there will be no normals. As for super spider nobody has proved one out yet so i don't think there is one.
Sex doesn't matter either as long as you have a male and female

Re: What do you get when . . .
Yeah what they said. There's always been some speculation as to whether or not there is or is not a "super" spider. It may be that it is a lethal gene and kills the babies before they hatch or it could just look like a normal spider and the only way to tell would be to breed it to multiple normals and have them throw 100% spiders every time .
But yeah to answer your question from that pairing your odds would be something like 50% pastel, 25% spider and 25% bumblebee.
Do you actually have a spider and a super pastel?

Re: What do you get when . . .
Every baby will be a pastel, with each one having a 50% chance of getting the spider gene as well. So basically you should get half pastels and half bees. There will be no normals or plain spiders in the clutch.

There wouldn't be any spiders in the clutch just bees and pastels.

I don't have either, but there was a reptile expo this past weekend and I saw a super pastel for $800 and a really cool looking spider for $300. I got both the breeder's cards, and I'm thinking about getting them at the next show, next year. Hopefully those same type of BPs will be there! The guy with the Super Pastel had Bumblebees as well for $900, I just thought I'd get the Spider and Super Pastel - make at least one Bumblebee to keep. Then I want an Albino and I think I'm set =)

Re: What do you get when . . .
Hopefully some eggs. (just kidding) All of the hatclings will be at least pastels, and each egg would have a 1/2 chance of being spiders. So either bumblebees or pastels.

Re: What do you get when . . .
Killer bees are super pastel x bumble bee right? And Super pastel x Spider is half bees half pastel?
