Any paintballers out there?

I just started playing paintball (about 3 months ago) and I'm absolutely addicted. Been going pretty much every Sunday since I started. Any other ballers out there?

i paintballed for about 6 years. As soon as I hit college there was no time for it anymore. It is one hell of a game though. So intense. I have spend sooo much money throughout the year playin and upgrading to better equipment.

I'm more of a speedball player. i played in a couple of tournies but nothing mainstream like PSP or NPPL leagues.

What kind of marker did u start out with?

If you end up getting really into it..I still have all my gear in which is collecting dust in my room. consisting of 2006 Ego, Vlocity loader, profiler masks..and a whole lot of other stuff.

I started out just doing woodsball but have been playing more and more speedball as of late. I'm kind of old to start hitting the tournies as much as I would like to. Most of people playing are 16 and under and i'm 28 lol. It is a black hole for money though, I can't believe the cost of paint. I have a spyder VS2, Halo B w/ rip drive loader, J&J barrel, CF 4500psi tank, profilier mask, empire pants, eclipse jersey & NXe bag. I kinda went all out I will be upgrading to a better gun after this season though the spyder isn't bad but it's not consistent. Looking at either a bob long, dp or if I can get the loot an ego. Drop me a pm, let me know what you would part with the 06 ego for.

do you know wat is a really good marker for the money. THe dp fusion like u said is an amazing gun for the money

I have owned a 2001 AKA excalibur and a 2004 AKA Viking. They are one of the most underestimated guns out there. Both guns shot 280, 280 , 280 , 281 over the chronograph. There company got sued by smart parts over some patent and they are not allowed to make guns anymore. If they were still in business, they'd be the top dog over planet eclipse and Dye.

ANother gun that u should look it is the infinity (something) I forgot the name. U got a lot for the money you pay for.

I know what u mean by spiders being inconsistent. They really are..stock at least. You can always upgrade to a stronger cup seal and regulator so u can keep track of your input pressure from your tank.. Most spiders have gas through grips which just let your tank be your regulator which makes it inconsistent. Most preset nitrogen tanks output like 600 psi which is a lot for a spider. Without a regulator to regulate that pressure. shots will be off.

Sorry for the rant..I haven't spoken about paintball in so long. so wen I find someone who does..I talk about it a lot.

Yea i've been looking at the fusion and the new G3. I've heard that smart parts put a few companies out of business by suing them, kind of a crappy thing. I was looking at the reg upgrades and stuff for the spyder, but like you said with the whole gas through grips I would have to replace everything and I would rather just the extra money and get more of a mid level gun. Plus they look alot nicer than the spyder lol.

When u say g3...do you mean the new angel??? if so....please stay away from them. They were top notch like 8 years ago when the bps cap was 13. Now with gun with unlimited ramp and stuff, angels are pure crap. my friends used to have angels and they always broke down and playin with them is like lugging around a brick. The new egos are under 2 lbs

i used to play before I hit college also. not a big time tourney player, but get together with friends and stuff and head out. I'm kinda in the dark about all the stuff you guys are talking about here though.

I use to play almost every weeknd. When i was getting paint for free. I had a friend that worked at a paintball shop. Once he quit and i stoped getting free paint it got too expensive and now im lucky to make it out once a month. The marker i use is a older dye matrix with upgraded board, barrel, internals and a bunch of other things i can't think of. the thing is scary accurate probalby one of the most accurate markers ive shot. also fast if you can get the trigger figured out. but it is heavy.
