Corns are confusing me

One of my corn snakes is really confusing me. Okay, he shed about 2 weeks ago, and he shed AGAIN yesterday! And today, I discovered under his hide by the water dish, the substrate was soaked and the water dish hardly had any water in it! I just don't understand what he's been doing in there. Help apreciated.

Check for mites and skin issues.....if neither are present he is just being a snake.....LOL

The younger they are, the more often they shed. Like Richard said, as long as you don't see any obvious problems, I wouldn't worry about it.

Your corn is just acting normal. Doesn't sound like anything to worry about.

Spilled water is normal. Frequent sheds is a little off. I would check for any mites, maybe even tick, or possible injury that could be causing him to shed more frequently. If all is well, then chalk it up to a bizarre incident. If he keeps shedding every two weeks, then a vet trip might be in order just to be sure. But for now, just keep an eye on him and all should be well.

My anery does the exact same thing (sans the shedding) she is constantly cruising the viv and then running right through the water disk and getting it all out. I have watched her and she isnt swimming just running all around and through the water dich. It only about an inch deep if that and right on the substrate so there is no work involved for her to do it

How old is she? How big is she? Being real active and knocking things over is often a sign that they're hungry and searching for food. I've had a lot of baby/subadult corns shed at two week intervals if they are growing quickly. And when they're growing quickly, they're a lot more active searching for food and should be fed more often.

Mine is an 06 anery that just happens to be a very active. She is a cruiser at all times of day or night
