Washing tank accessories

I should put the wood in the oven to dry?? but it has plastic on it..
im just afraid that when im washing the wood whatever im cleaning it in will soak into the wood

Wood isn't the greatest material to use in a cage where things need to be sterilized periodically--better to use something plastic that's made to look like wood.

I scrub with dish soap and water, rinse, then soak in chlorhexedine solution, and rinse thoroughly.

You can also get chlorhexedine from Amazon.com for cheap.

Also, wood will have a tendency to mold...which is no good. Maybe stick to the plastics???

I use chlorahehadine solution, or you can use a 5%-10% bleach solution. Then I soak/rinse really well and let everything air dry. If I have anything made of wood, I dry it in the oven after rinsing. 225 degrees until it's completely dry.
